Would you like a guy's opinion? I went through something similar recently and my gf asked me point blank. I really respect her for that, because she was direct and honest with me.

If he's cheating, of course you should either try to work it out with him or break up with him. Maybe it's time for you to move closer to him? Maybe he needs you alot more than you realize? I'm not saying it's your fault if he's cheated, because it's not. But, maybe if you were closer to each other those temptations wouldn't be there anymore.

Long distance relationships take alot more work to stay together, I think. I know in my own experience that it's really hard to keep from getting jealous and suspicious. Really hard. Even if there's no reason for it.
