I have recently saw Alvin cheat on another family member and then a joyful joining ceremony fixed up his affair, a rejection for sure at first in the new dimension (TS2)-you could try find another sim to socialise or get a girlfriend/husband, perhaps find and meet your new girlfriend/husband at a community lot
