In our hood we keep our records in webpage files. Here's an example http://www.freespaces.com/arrendale/eden/genome/firstart.html Unfortunately I don't know of any programs or templates you can use, since our web designer writes in the HTML herself. I have seen some sims record their family trees in an image file. You could just copy and paste the pictures of your residents into a picture file and then add lines to draw in the family connections. Just a thought.
