I don't think it causes a problem if elders decide to stay in their home. With two elders in a house, and 2 adults (heir and spouse) in the house, there is still room for 4 children. By the time of the 4th birth most grandparents will no longer be around. The problem concerning this all araises if the heirs' siblings are too young to move out. There can often be a full generation between the oldest and the youngest.
