Just tell him that it's a mystery. Kids seem to love mysteries. And it wouldn't be a lie either, unless you know about his past. I and my partner adopted a 3rd kid, he is 10. He never asked questions, instead it looks like he is on top of the world. He hushes his teen siblings out from the bathroom in the mornings in order to clean the tub. Perhaps he developed that attitude in order to forget some past. It's hard to tell. We just are glad he has not asked about his past, and we have not asked him either.

>My son, Phil, is about 7 or so, and today he asked me

>also keeps asking why he has no mom, but two dads. He
>assured us that he liked having two dads, but he was
>just curious. Eek! What do I do?
