Subject: Searching for a New Breed of Musician

Hello Fellow Musician,
My name is Leigha. I am 18, and I am an aspiring singer/songwriter from East Tennessee. I came across your ad on Musician's Junction, and I like what I saw. I was previously the lead singer for a local band called Loose Change. Since the band broke-up, I've been working on a new project. If you have the time, let me explain to you my vision............



I would like to bring together a group of strong-minded, dedicated musicians with similar outlooks and ambitions to create a new sound. The style I want to bring to life is like....well, if you threw Pink Floyd, Janis Joplin, Metallica, Melissa Ethridge, Good Charlotte, and Pat Benatar in a blender.....you'd have it!!

Still with me?.. Good. Now, second thing, I DO NOT INTEND TO BE IN A GARAGE BAND FOR THE REST OF MY CAREER. IF YOU'RE NOT SERIOUS ABOUT GETTING DOWN TO BUSINESS AND GOING PLACES, I'M NOT THE PERSON YOU NEED TO BE WORKING WITH!!

Last, but not least. There is no "I" in band. I would like for the people that I work with to get along and function as a group. A family even. That's what it's all about. Bouncing ideas off of each other, learning from your bandmates, being open to your associates artistic creativity, while at the same time, expressing your own.
