Subject: Property taxes

Hi,

That would depend upon:

- location (Scugog Island waterfront/backlot can set you back $4,500 to $7,000)
- land size
- house square footage (excluding unfinished basements)
- whether property has inground/onground pool
- etc., etc.

Why don't you contact Scugog Township, who set the taxes. They will be able to give you an idea of the taxes in the area you are looking at.

www.township.scugog.on.ca

Hope this helps!
Jeannie
