Subject: New to Canada

My friend's 20 year old daughter has just joined Canada from Slovakia (landed).

She loves it here but is becoming lonely, spending time just with her immediate family and us.

I was wondering whether there are any young folk in Port Perry who would be willing to show her around, so she can at least be with people her own age.

Her English is excellent, well educated and rather an academic, but despite that she's lots of fun to be around .

Hi Toby,

Don't put email addresses up on the site, as there are spammers trolling all web sites for addresses. That's one way they get our addresses!

So, if you use the "Feedback" form, on the menu bar to the left, that'll get to me and I'll write back to you, privately.

Just a warning to everyone, don't put your email address on public websites!!
