Great Lake Scugog Ice-Out Contest.

What's that ????

Each year Port Perry has a contest to see when the earliest ice-out, on Lake Scugog, happens.

It is a 50/50 draw, with half the funds going to the Scugog Shores Museum, the remainder going to the person who correctly guesses the date the ice leaves Lake Scugog.
