Subject: Punk/Metal

Ok, take it away people. I know the punk versus metal debate is old, but I'm interested to know why people are supposed to prefer one to the other and why. You see, my personal choice is very, very undecided because I have days when I'm so into metal and listen to hed (pe), Korn, One Minute Silence etc loads and then I have days when I'm addicted to punk and have NOFX and Less Than Jake and MXPX on the stereo all the time....
