Subject: Introduction

Hello, everyone! My name is April Dandridge. I’m originally from Independence, MS, and I am 26 years old. I moved to Memphis after high school to attend University of Memphis. I received a BA in Journalism with a concentration in Advertising. After graduation, I tried finding a job in advertising and nothing happened. After having so many doors shut in my face, I realized maybe advertising wasn’t for me. Then one day, my pastor asked me to teach a Sunday School class and I fell in love. At that moment, I knew what life had for me. As a little girl, I always wanted to be a teacher. I had perfect attendance since Kindergarten. :) So, I did the smart thing and went back to school for a masters. I will be enrolled in the MAT/TEP program this fall. After graduation, I plan to be a teacher for a couple of years and then moving into the administration area.
