hope the quality was good, my vintage compressor seems to give us the "american radio" sound so known for top 40 radio. as for a 4 hour loop, in theory it is possible, all you really need is "ideally" a dedicated computer to the net, winamp playing a 4 hour mp3 on repeat and stream using the shoutcast server. I'm not sure on exact restrictions through shoutcast and the RIAA might take notice (those greedy dumbasses!!) but it's one of those things that you do until someone bitches about it for no reason other then you are popular.

you can also get automation software for those stream broadcasters. SAM (streaming audio manager) and Station Playlist, are two of the more popular software programs in the LPFM range. It ain't scott studios or master control, but they work well.
