Many things are wrong withckonight. Darian, who when I used to visit her in the Tribeca Mansion, had a car service to take her to Duane Reade's for gum, found her way from Westchester (did Viacom shack you up with Clinton) to Grand Central, then waited patiently and politely for 15 smelly cabs to pick up tourists until she finally decided to throw caution to the wind and hired a Parisian cyclist with a rickshaw to deliver her to us.

Next she turned down body shots from good looking corporate shirts and after hours of hilarious trips down Memory Lane, insisted we all walk the 3 miles back to the studio.

I've known you for many years, D. You've never been more. In every way. You shine. Bigger, brighter, funnier, more beautifully and daringly than anyone.

Thank you for giving a 23 year old punk a chance to skip so many steps. I loved every minute. Even at your crankiest. I've done OK, thanks. LOL.

I saw my own city throught the most dazzling eyes tonight.
