Darian!
It's Nick. I'm so happy that I'll het to hear your show again soon. We miss you terribly. I'm now operating out of Monterey and San Francisco and "Nutcracker...An American Nightmare" is skyrocketing! Not only is it garning attention thanks to the film festival, it's also now on DVD.

So to get on to the new additions--after your departure, we added two new songs which were specifically recorded for the film by Julie Cruise, the voice of "Twin Peaks" and then things took off like wildfire. A local techno-musician took some of the lines out of the film including many of yours and created a massive dance mix out of the voices and some electronic dance music. There are also three new videos of songs that were written especially for the movie--and one of them is the "techno" version--and there's a video with you in it as well. I can also send you a poster of the film--it was made by a top graphic artist, and your pic is in there along with the rest of the central cast and if you want a new copy of the tape as well-the new box cover has your picture and name on it and so does the DVD.

In so many ways, we really lucked out when you came in and did your thing, since the character really came to life when you did it. I think casting you was a stroke of genius--and I am gratedul that you stuck it out. I know filming into the wee hours and then racing back to the city to do your morning show must have been exhausting but Glen and I expanded the Blair role once we saw you--and the my favorite, the whole video store scene came out of that, which would have never happened had you not blown us away in the auditions. We knew we had to get you in more scenes. And, of course there's the surprise twist that people will have to watch the film to discover.

Again, I am so excited to hear you're returning. I miss your energy--it would be wonderful if you could attend the American Film Market in Santa Monica this coming November to helo get it sold in even more countries. I'd also loveit if we could set up another film with you and some of the other actors (I know David Hess and Bill Bragg would love to work with you again so we should come up with something else.)

I'm so sorry to hear that you were ill and can't wait to have you back down here with us.

All the best!
Nick

PS--My friend Gene Kraft asked me what's happening with you--he still thinks you'd make a perfect talk show host for a new series--you should get in touch with him if you're interested. If you want to call Gene directly, I sent his private # to your email. His office # is 949-295-7705. He has a new site--www.ientertainment.ws (I don't know what the ws stands for , but he's doing some really interesting things. He asked about you last month--and I said I didn't know what happened, but that I thought you returned to Canada. His reaction was "that's too bad." He knows you have a lot on the ball. And, as you are aware, he is extaordinarily talented.
