Subject: New South Park Website(Still in Works)

Hey everyone, I am building a website for the South Park players called South Park Central - It is still under construction and will be for awhile while i look for images and learn more about web design. However, it is up and running, so you can bookmark it for later visits. I will try to add more to it soon but i am quite a busy person with college and work.

Now i would like to address an apparent ongoing issue. The following is a copy of Xybex's post about cheaters. Please read it as well as Hawaiian's reply. I also have added something of my own after their messages.

Xybex's message:

To all of you who think it's fun to use trainers and to use bugs in the game to hide I say:

-GROW UP

The only thing youre doing is pissing people off.
Learn to play the game instead and you won't need to use "tricks" to get a frag.

We had a similar situation in the summer of 99 when cheating drove all the good players away and no servers where available anymore.

It's not fun and if you think it is start your own games which are clearly marked as "cheats & tricks" where u can amuse your selves for ours if you wish instead of ruining "normal" games.

Oh by the way hiding in maps was barely amusing when it was discovered 1 1/2 years ago on gym class and it's getting old now.

Youre not doing the reputation of south park the game any good!! We already have these "you are a cheater" accusations, I get them all the time even though I never cheat and that pisses me off.

Anyone who doesn't play fair is no friend of mine.
END OF XYBEX's MESS.

Hawaiian's Mess.:
>> I agree with Xybex about "trainers". Using a trainer
>just goes to show what a loser you are!
END HAWAIIAN's MESS.

My Thoughts:
What about bugs in the game? People think it is not cheating to use them, however, it only goes to show you that those who hide in walls have no skill and degrade the competitive quality that most of us want. We want good, honorable players, players that always have a chance to win, but only because they have improved and not because they have found an interesting hiding place or fortitude. If you think you suck and that you must cheat, you are defeating yourself, not the competition. If you want to succeed at the game, you have to have more confidence in yourself. And ask others how they play, get some hints, trade strategies. On my the website i am building, i will share some of my own personal strategies and ideas, and as soon as i figure out how to integrate a message board, it will be possible for others to do so as well. Just try to improve. A lot of us have been playing since the game was issued, and have good strategies, and are no doubt really good. Just talk to us. I suggest we all use ICQ if we are going to communicate. I will make a page listing the player's ICQ #'s if they don't mind their # being listed. The address to my website is as follows: http://members.home.net/southparkcowz/ - Well to all, good games and cya later.
