Subject: Failed cheerleading tryouts, but now I need help starting my own dance team!

9274.1 I didn't make cheerleading tryouts because I didn't know how to tumble, and after watching the Disney movie "Gotta Kick it UP!" I want to start my own dance team. I have been dancing for 5 years, and thought if I started a dance team, I could be the coach and teach. I already have dance routines made up. However, my problem is that my high school doesn't have a dance team, and the athletic director doesn't like girls' sports. So I don't know what to do to start this team. I don't know if it should be a school activity, where we have tryouts in school, and practice in school and compete during school time and take school buses, or if it should be outside of school where I just get a few people to practice somewhere. But I also don't have the money, and how do I get people to be interested in it?
Also, does anyone know the name of the songs that the different dance teams danced to at competitions in the movie Gotta Kick it UP?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
