hey! I think that cheerleading is a sport! I am not a cheerleader but I have many friends who do the sport. You have to be a team in order to suceed. It's not a contest where one individual is higher ranked. It takes enourmous amounts of practice and commitments. It is a sport in which all need to work together as a team in order to succeed. If one goes down the whole team goes down. But they can help each other to improve.
