Knowing that you must find this boy, you headed out to the dock at Nova and saw a painter. You gave him a detailed description of Boy #2 and he drew a portrait that looked almost exactly like him. Quite content, you took off and headed out to sea, not knowing where to begin looking for him. About 30 miles out to sea you were flagged by a passing ship. They said they had been looking for a young man who had ran away from Andromeda Island. Knowing in your heart who it was, you ran below deck and hopped aboard their ship once you'd grabbed the portrait.
"That's him!", they exclaimed. You were ecstatic! You asked them if you could travel along with them in their search. The captain agreed, although he was quite confused on how you had this portrait. You explained that you had met him in an adventure on Nova, but hadn't the foggiest idea where he'd gone to.
Day after day the search continued. The men were always shouting out "Alexander! Alexander!" The name was so fitting. You began to dream away the voyage, planning what you would say to him when the search would be through, what clothes you would wear, imagining how he might look now. Suppose he didn't look anything like the portrait anymore? Nah...
Finally, on the 12th day you heard cheers of joy from above deck. You ran at full speed to see if it was him.
Well...Who else would it be? :)
Awestruck, you stared open-mouthed at him. He must have been lost in the woods of Earthshine for days. The crewmen quickly gave him food and drink to revive him. Thinking that you were just getting in the way, you went below deck to your quarters and frantically cleaned things up.
Later on in the evening, about 8 'o clock, you heard a knock at your door. Your heart began beating at such a quick pace you thought it would burst. Finally you managed to breathe the words "Come in" and he opened the door.
"Hello..I'm Alex. We met at the...erm...you know." he said.
You nodded slightly, still amazed.
"So...I'm sorry about that whole thing in the water. At the time I felt it was the only thing that could save you. The Angel told me before the competition began that I could have 'mystical temporary powers'. The cyclone was the easy part. I don't know why I leaned in to ki...Oh, sorry. I'm babbling again."
"No, it's okay," you said quickly. "So...Why did you run away?"
"Oh. That. Well, my father has kind of set me up in an arranged marriage. The girl's evil! I couldn't stand spending the rest of my life with a wretch like that. You met her...The girl at the 'thing'. I ran away to find someone else who could maybe take her place in my dad's eyes."
Thinking of how you could head this in the right direction, you asked "Have you found anyone so far?"
"I dunno...There's this girl but I think I need to get to know her first." he said with a wink.
The two of you began spending every minute of every day together on the way to Andromeda Island, all the while your ship being pulled behind the vast ship of Alex's.
You fell deeply in love with him, and upon the return to his island he said he had something to ask you, but not yet. You knew in your heart what it would be.
The whole island was bursting with joy upon the return of Alexander. You had no clue he was so loved! He took your hand and brought you up to the top of a stage with all of the people of Andromeda Island standing below, staring.
Finally he knelt, and said...
"Rebella...I never knew I could love someone so much.", he cleared his throat. "I, Prince Alexander of Andromeda Island, would be honored if you would be my wife and Queen."
What do you say? (OOC: *sobs*...It's so beautiful! *wipes tears* I'm honestly getting teary-eyed. serious...)
A. "Of course I will!"
B. "I'm sorry, but that's too much responsibility for me."
C. "I'm sorry, but I'm just not interested."
