Hi there from a former 40th entry N.Attd. (1941982)
Only recently found this web site (by accident).
Since leaving Cosford (Halcyon days?) I went to Lyneham, Aden, Cyprus, Libya, Borneo, Northolt, Uxbridge... leaving the service in 1971. I then worked for three months as an undertaker, but gave it up as a dead end job, but not a dying trade. (I think I had the wrong attitude for it). I then joined London Underground as a booking clerk. (better than working for a living). Became involved in a work Christian Fellowship, becoming the lay pastor. Managed to get a degree in Theology and was ordained (free church), before suffering a severe heart attack in 2001 which gave me a nice, medical retirement with enhanced pension. Now, I just enjoy living.
