Gail phoned me today to advise that her parents had contacted her to say that Aunt Dorinda had collapsed while watching TV with the other residents. Apparently they could not find a pulse or detect a heart beat for two minutes. They had thought she had passed, however, her eyes flickered and she was revived. I assume they had performed CPR. At any rate, the Doctor who examined Aunt Dorinda thought that she probably had a heart attack. Apparently she is doing fine, but certainly if her heart stopped, that can't be a good thing. If I hear more I'll let folks know.
Gail also said that Patrick goes for his operation on August 15/2012. He was doing his pre-op this week. It has been a tough go and Pat has lost significant weight. Even though he hasn't had chemo for three months, he hasn't got any weight back. I, once again, offered any assistance should Pat want it. At this point we can simply keep him in out thoughts and prayers along with Aunt Dorinda. Love to all,Jonathan, Christene and Alex
