Fat Flush Soup

Ingredients:

1 lb. ground turkey breast
1 can (28 oz) Tomato Puree (Muir Glen or San Marzano)
1 can (28 oz) water
small onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup spinach, chopped
1 cup green beans (froz. or fresh), chopped
1/2 med. green pepper, chopped
1/2 med. red pepper, chopped
1 tsp. basil
1 tsp. oregano
a little salt and pepper
1 stalk celery, chopped

Directions:

- Brown meat in skillet over med. heat until no longer pink. Throw in the onion and garlic for the last 3 minutes (I spray the pan with olive oil cooking spray)

- Place the meat, onion and garlic in a large pot with tomatoes, water, spinach, green beans, green and red peppers, celery, and spices.

- Cook over low-medium hear for about 1 hour.

I usually serve this with a little parmesan cheese on top. I adjusted the recipe to make it a little more appetizing, but I think it's still a good one for weight loss. You can either buy tomato puree or take a can of regular tomatoes and blend it with a few tablespoons of tomato paste.
