On Saturday I had the pleasure of watching Timbit win the Curling championship with a narrow 6 - 5 victory over a squad that was a previous Canadian champion. Timbit played one of his best game, taking out rocks, hitting the button and sweeping like a worker from Molly Maid. What a game! The two squads were in a tie on all scoring levels so only a win would determine the overall champion. The last time Timbit's name was on the trophy was in 1997. How many sport legends can make a comeback of that magnitude after so many years away from the winner's circle. Congratulations to Tim and his three team members for a job well done and a well earned victory. (Phil: note, Tim took the 15 year old Scotch as his victory prize)
