Always nice to drop onto the board and see the hard core are still banging out the posts. Sorry about the missed birthday posts and births. The best to all.

Spring is trying hard to land in the Sault but it has been fits and starts. The snow last weekend was brutal. We had Lories parents over for Mother's Day brunch and they had to wear their snow boots and I needed to shovel the porch. It is supposed to warm to 20c for the long weekend and there is no prediction for rain until sunday afternoon.

We are planning a trip to Detroit for the long weekend. Lorie watches a show on the Food Network called Drive-Ins, Diners and Dives that highlights different culinary establishments throughout the States and some in Canada. Our plan is to pick out a couple of places on the way and there are a couple in Detroit we want to try. Jacob is planning on staying home but the little social butterfly will plans on being with us. That is if she gets her homework done.

There are a couple of restaurants in Buffalo that have made the show and I was toying with the idea of heading there at the beginning of July when I have a week off. Maybe some of us can meet there and try them out.

The weather hasn't really been conducive so I haven't broken the clubs out. I have several long weekends planned in June July and August so i hope i can head South and get a few games in with you lads. I think Phil had made a suggestion we try a course in Port Huron. The old retiree should be able to drive at least that far unless he gets chauffered by his younger retired brother.

I pray everyone is well and that the world travellers are enjoying themselves and relaxing. By the way Jon the Leafs looked like they were going to take Boston with a 4-1 lead going into the third in game 7. Boston was down by 2 goals going into the last 2:30 minutes and tied it up. They hammered in a goal in overtime and that's all they wrote. At least the Leafs made the playoffs this year.

Ciao
