WESTON, ROBERT SIDNEY “BOB”
Robert Weston of Meaford, and formerly of Willowdale, passed away peacefully in Meaford on Sunday May 22,2016 in the presence of loving family in his 89th year. Bob is survived by his beloved wife and best friend Grace ‘Betty’(nee Thomson) Weston and is lovingly remembered by his children Gail (Ross), Patrick (Jay), and Mary (Garry). He was predeceased by his son Michael in 2007.
He was the devoted Poppa of Lisa, Daniel and Shauna;
Mandy and Lesley; Aidan, Conor and Kendra; and Michelle and Laura and great-grandfather to Emma and Amelia,and Aurora and Isobel. Bob’s family will receive friends at the
Ferguson Funeral Home, in Meaford on Saturday June 4th from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. when a memorial funeral service
celebrating his life will be conducted at the funeral home officiated by Joel Jongkind at 11 a.m. A service of committal and interment of Bob’s cremated remains will follow at Lakeview Cemetery, Meaford. A time of refreshment and further sharing of memories of Bob with his family
will take place at a reception to follow at Knox Presbyterian Church. If so desired and as your expression of sympathy in lieu of flowers, donations to the Meaford Hospital Foundation or the Canadian Wildlife Federation
