It wasn't even close! The 2 bands prior made me think there was something wrong with the equipment or maybe I was just getting old but when the boys from the black stuff took the stage the place rocked bringing back memories of all the great names that have played in the El Mocambo, Spadina's answer to the Cavern Club. And their spiritual leader and bass player was spectacular! Great night! The only constructive criticism I heard all night was a plaintive voice that emanated from deep within the appreciative crowd..
"I think they need a flute player"!*
