Well, the good thing about my birthday is it coincides with the new year so I'm always beginning afresh.

It was wonderful seeing everyone and thank you so much for the posts and the phone calls. I'm not sure if it's a good thing being the one who always has to break new ground age-wise, but "onward and upward" as they say!

I haven't done my weigh-in yet but I suggest that everyone who wants to participate in the Smith Family Biggest Loser Contest post their current weight and waist size by the end of the week and then we're off to the races. I will see if I can find some official rules for us to use. (Or somebody suggest some.)
