Sounds like it has been busy at home, hope Jack saved me some ant brittle....although i think I have eaten my share of ants since we have been here...and other insects. I constantly am spraying bugspray, and Andy always happens to walk right into the spray area, which means he eats a lot of bugspray. I am surprised you didn't include weather in you reports of Australia. Right now to the west people are being evacuated because of flooding and to the North, where we were a couple days ago people are being evacuated because of a cyclone due to hit on sunday. We almost made the news at a campsite in Townsville. We were travelling with that english couple I told you about from the Uluru trip and we were sleeping in the van and they were in their tent and during the night we saw lights which we both thought were headlights but it turned out it was a couple of guys with flashlights discussing that they had just stolen a bunch of money and deciding whetherto continue or go home. Dan and Sophie heard the whole conversation and thenext day we found out a bunch of people at the park had been burgalarized(?) and the one guy had dropped his samurai sword...strange. But other than that things are good ,we are in Brisbane now after a busy week of activities. Sailing trip in the Whitsundays, where I was seasick, 4 wheel drive trip to Fraser Island, where I was car sick and then Steve Irwin's zoo yesterday, where I was almost clipped by a Perigion(?) Falcon. It has been really nice, but very busy. Today we went to the Glass House Mountains and discovered that easy climb to Australians means torture for Canadians....super hard, almost had a heart attack.
Patrick moving home or just home for a break? We ran into Vanessa's best friend Shannon in Cairns, can't remember if I told you guys that yet. Very small world.
Does Ann have super bones...don't broken bones take longer to heal than two months? Hope she is okay. We have had a few cryptic messages about soccer...is anyone left? Andy sent Zack a message saying he was sorry to see him go and that he had really liked having him as a coach...since then it seems that everyone has gone crazy. Oh well I guess we will be filled in soon enough. Yes not long now, 28 days, 28 busy days. An airport pickup would be lovely....can Jack come along and if I could request a small bag of cat treats for G and C....just to make them love me a little.
We got a message from the Schulers saying spring has arrived....I have become climatized so it better stay that way.
Anyhow I am on a computer that is really hard to type on so I must be off.....just think about the message you would have gotten if the keyboard was not so stiff...you would still be reading when we get home.
Love you both lots,
Keep sending updates, we love getting messages on Andy's phone.
Love Us
Oh and the soccer games, are there more to come for the summer, is that what that message meant, cause we would want to see a game for sure. Just not in April this time, that was too cold last year
