Subject: I saw this week (don't know which week)

Since it's Sunday, I'm not sure if today should be included or not, but I'll wait until the editor of the "I saw this week" column weighs in...on second thought, that might be a bad idea.

Anyway, I saw this week...

- that we had a wicked snowstorm on Thursday and I had to leave work early and was glad I did - the drive from Wonderland to Swampscott was pretty scary

- that we are in the middle of a Nor'easter today and shoveled for 4 hours this morning at which time it was no longer snowing but raining so we went to Starbucks and I had a peppermint white chocolate mocha with whipped cream. I will need to shovel another 4 hours tomorrow just to make up for it. The good news is that Alex had the snow thrower repaired at the beginning of December and it worked very well today (I'm the idiot that does the shovelling)

- that there is a whole lot of activity on the Board thanks to Phil and I will make more of an effort to keep up on the news (thanks, Tim, for pointing that out to me)

Okay, I'm pooped now...I will have to call and get all the news, especially about little Jack and Dorinda's "new abode"?

Also, looking forward to Christmas in Swampscott with almost all of the children for the first time in many years, thanks to Dylan and May and Florencia and Joaquin. I hope I'm up for the challenge!

love, catherine
