I had no expectations...just a sigh of relief that I might be able to sit and put my feet up and go to bed early as we said good-bye (sniff, sniff) to the last of our visitors (Florencia, Dave and little Joaquin were put on Jet Blue at 7 in the AM). But it turned out to be a wonderful day, with good wishes from everyone, flowers from Dylan and May, a pressure cooker from Yvan, some very funny monk-e-mails from Yvan and Kristin, lunch with Fernando, a GPS (not on a stick) from my husband (I think that's a two-for-one as I was going to get him that for Christmas but ran out of shopping energy) and lots of lovely phone calls and messages. Then JP and Dawne brought me a cake yesterday and flowers so I even got an extra day of fun. Damn, I don't deserve to be this happy! It was great reading all the Christmas and New Year postings. Why don't we all go to some warm exotic all-inclusive place next year? So we could just sit back and enjoy ourselves? Think about it! Meanwhile, we need some photos. Let's set up something on Shutterfly or some other photo site (recommendations, please) where we can upload pictures and people can print the ones they want...
