The board has gone silent. We don't even see weekly musings from the head of Southpork. How are the arrangements for the Beach coming. Have we determined the courses we are playing on. Has Peter Ivan set up the team schedules? By the way, I talked to Gail last week and she informed me that Dorinda had her operation to remove some skin cancer from her nose. The operation was successful but Dorinda isn't pleased because the skin graft tightened her nose and pulled her nostrils up which according to Dorinda, has give her a pig's snout. Her complaint to Bob is that the Doctor gave her a pig's nose and will she ever get her own nose back. On a sadder note, Gail said that Norman Meeks has been diagnosed with lung cancer. Gail said that Norman is the same age as Michael. The prognosis isn't good and Betty had said something along the lines of six months. Not good. Hopefully that's the end of the bad news for '08. Hope everyone is doing well. Had a great time at New Years at the Vic Inn. Thanks to Wiggy and Peter for hosting as they did a fabulous job. Food and fun, although, Pete got a big anxious when Timbit tried to take the mike into the next room while singing. Timbit didn't realize it wasn't wireless. The Nordeners had fun and always sad to see them head North. Looking forward for their return trip in the summer. Perhaps we can have the family golf tournament in July as Peter Sidney may not be able to get holidays at year end. We'll see if Peter Ivan can influence the decision with the Roome-Smiths.
