Gee, 25 years of wedded bliss and I missed the milestone! Congratulations. I only hope I last so long (another 4 years, seems doubtful)...don't tell you-know-who (read this in a conspiratorial whisper, please).

It was a fairytale wedding in the little town of Mitchell. Speaking of which, I happened to come across this little item recently on the "Year in Review: Kivalliq News" site:

"Mystery solved: A chance encounter during Janet Onalik's home-town reunion in Mitchell, Ont., solved an almost three-decade-old mystery when the flag from the Arctic Research Training Centre was returned to Rankin Inlet. The flag had been taken in the mid-70s and its whereabouts had remained a mystery until Onalik ran into former Rankin resident Ted Schinbein during her trip."

Anyway, I think Mark Twain put it best...

"Love seems the swiftest, but it is the slowest of all growths. No man or woman really knows what perfect love is until they have been married a quarter of a century."

Congratulations on your perfect love!

Hugs, catherine
