Well, it was another mystifying basketball game at the Y where once again I marvelled at how easily Jason Montague muscles me off the ball even though he is half my weight (which by the way, is too heavy for the A-Bike - there's incentive to lose weight if ever I needed any!), Nate's ability to shoot from distance and snag his own rebound, Pip's ability to keep his shorts up even though the drawstring is below his knees, Nick's speed and grace down the court - must get it from his Mum!, Phil's Pimpernel-like habit of ghosting out of the game and into the sauna, "did anyone see Phil, do you think he's okay?" and Jonathan's unerring 'nothing but net' shots even after I had to push him up the 2 flights of stairs just to get to the court! As for Meadowlark Kenny Murphy, that's the last time he's allowed to play on the skins team! Seriously, I'm very disappointed in you all for not teaching me a little more about the game but I had fun, my feet are killing me and the singsong with Timidee was a blast - very useful off the Grand Banks but it won't win us any prizes at the Kiwanis Music Festival! Good job Nate, good fun, good weekend seeing everyone, Love BC
