What a day! What a party! Thank you everyone for making my 50th birthday such a special moment for me. Special thanks to the hostess with the mostess, Christene. My loving wife, once again demonstrated her gift of being able to pull off another special event with flawless execution. I had such a great time and the cards and gifts were, as they say, icing on the cake. The book was beautiful and a tribute to the unique talents of my big sister Catherine. I know we always talk about winning the lottery and becoming rich, I think we have already won the lottery when we were born into this family. Mother and Father would be proud of the diverse and talent children they raised. While we all have special and unique talents, we share one bond, and that is the love we have for each other. That closeness is "priceless". I know it is contagious as all of my in-laws have become part of that bond. I can't think of many families that are as close as we are and not only that, I see the same connection in my daughter, Alex, and all of my nieces and nephews, including my "great" nephew Jack. Most importantly I have a wife who is one of greatest supporters and that has made such a significant difference in my life. Thanks Miss Chris. Once again, thank you everyone for sharing in my birthday celebrations, I love you all so very much. Jonathan Richard Smith.
