Its been a long while since I posted on the board. Long overdue. I heard I missed a hell of a good time celebrating that special guy's 50th birthday. I was terribly disappointed I didn't make it. In hindsight I should have booked a flight much earlier. It would have been great to see everyone together. It is a very loving family

On that note, thank you very much for my birthday wishes. Its nice that you guys always remember.

More importantly I'm posting because we had some unexpected happenings today. My dear old mum had been complaining about her eye and when she went in to see the doc, they decided to operate right away. So its another retinal detachment surgery for her. She's been there all day and they finally just operated a couple of hours ago. She just got out of surgery and I'm sure she's fine but we're still waiting to hear. Between her and I, we are supporting these eye doctors. She'll be home recouping for the next couple of days. I think I'll find a way to get revenge on her for the time she served me old chunky milk when I was recouping knowing that I couldn't see the chunks.
