hey everybody! how is everyone? i'm doing pretty good. God blessed me alot this week! on monday i was helping my uncle bobby put in a counter-top and my aunt called me, telling me that hollywood video called, and they wanted an interview, i called them back, scheduling an interview for tuesday, @ 12(my other aunt, and my two cousins over there were praying monday morning that i would get a job). i went in tuesday, pretty excited about it all, and he really didn't even need to ask me to many question, he said that i was the person he was looking for. so now i was exstatic(sp?)! as soon as i got home from watching videos, i came home to e-mail/call my sisters and mom y dad, but just before i picked up the phone, it rang.....it was food lion, they wanted an interview, they gave me the job, so then i had TWO part time jobs, Praise God, my Father! hold on, you don't really think the blessings stopped at that do you????? nope, even though i would have been throughly content with just the first job, God didn't think that those two jobs were enough of a reward for my patience, and my faith in him.(i started getting pretty depressed the last two weeks, but i realized that all i needed to do besides prayer was acknoledge that i trusted God to make everything happen according to his plan).............alright, sooo, that night(still tuesday) i was riding with the bike shop here, we were supposed to do a forty mile ride, but it got cut kind of short because of how late it was. well, i was riding along, keep up with the top dogs at the head of the pack, and then i started feeling really weak, my legs got incredibly stiff, and i just started huffin and puffin like, like, well, maybe like pj!(just kidding peej!! i know you could take me out on the ride) but anyway, so just as we turned onto 211, i was left behind by the front guys, and the other guys were gaining steady, well, i looked around, and i was just in awe by the scenery, and i felt compelled to pray, and to thank God for this awesome earth that he gave to us, and i just started praying out loud, (i think a cow gave me a wierd look ;) ) i told God everything that was on my mind then, and i thanked him for my ability to ride a bike well, and i told him that even though i was starting to get tired, i would finish the ride for him, even if i was the last guy in. well, just a little while after that, one guy was getting really far behind, so one of the leading guys had to go back and help him draft up to the main group again, and so everyone was going at a medium pace to wait for them. well, that was my time to fly, God gave me strength, and i used it, even though i didn't know the way, and at intersections, i had to wait until everyone else was in site so they could point which way i went, and finally i looked back again, and they didn't point, as they passed, turning right, they said that they didn't tell me which way to go because they had to catch up!! as we went into buford, i pulled ahead again, and i was going down a pretty big hill, going about 40-45, and the fast guy started passing me again, i thought to myself, why? why i'm i going slow? and then i shifted into a the hardest gear, and slammed those pedals, i took off and passed that guy so quick he didn't know what to do with me! i was riding strong!!! all thanks to Christ, Who Strengthens me! then, to the relief to the older guys(almost, everyone riding was at least 10 years older), i got a flat tire! that was the end of my ride, but as i was waiting at the gas station, twenty five miles from home, i got a real good chance to thank God again!
ok, ok, that whole bike ride story doesn't seem like a good blessing? well, just as everyone was slowing down to wait up for the dude waayy behind, i was talking to mike bennet(he owns the bike shop) i told him that i'd be able to buy a road bike that fits me soon enough cuz i just got two part time jobs. just as i said 'part time', the guy behind me says: "what do you do?" i say: "what? what do you mean(me being dense)" he says "what do you do?" me: "anything" he says: "do you like cars"

any of you really know me?? you all must know that my passion in life(second to God) is Cars!!!
[resume story]
my first response in my head was -duh-. but i didn't say anything stupid, well, i won't bore you with the rest of our conversation, but in short, this guy bobby asks me to come work for him at a BMW Shop!!!! they restore bmw's and porsche's, and work on all sorts of german cars, and they RACE!!!! so i went into food lion yesterday, and told them i couldn't work for the, because i got a job as a mechanic that payed a good bit more then they did. i still work at hollywood video, because the fringe benifits!
so alright, thats almost all i gotta say, say if you all can put up a word to the Father in thanks for what he has done for me, that'd be cool, and my dad still needs a job, so, maybe we could pray for him? ok hold on, i got two more things to add to tuesdays pile of blessings, not only did God bless me with lots of laughter(a small blessing, but not un-appreciated) watching Kung-Pow(so stupid its funny). buuuuttt he also blessed me the most with a phone call from my good friend bobbie, in michigan, that was the highlight of my night! and another good friend mary, called from college wanting to chat for a bit! so i guess i added three more to the pile huh? God Is Awesome!
hey you all, send me an e-mail if you want telling me how each of you have been, and this time(no promises) i'll try to get them replied-to, so sorry about the last ones i've gotten without replying :( all you permit-getters/liscense-testing ladies, you know you can get it! (have faith). well, hey, i'm probably going to get off the internet, i'm going to a junkyard to buy my smashed project civic! i'll talk to you all later!!!!!!
