ok so we all have our cornerstones marking where exactly we found house music...or better, when house music found us...

and i have to pay major homage to dubtribe for being there at that moment...or heck, creating some of those moments.

"the first time i ever heard house music...that's a long story"

that is why this wednesday is so exciting for all of us here at distant beat...it's one of those cornerstones...

sunshine jones from dubtribe is coming to play some records in our friendly little club and we couldnt be more curious and excited.

in my early days of going out, i remember doodling lyrics from their tracks on my notebook covers in school...putting their inspiring music on my voice mail, my answering machine...wherever i could share with other people, the feeling i got from dubtribe's music...i was seriously touched.

this is why we hope that you will come out this wednesday night and share this moment with us...just dance awhile...feel the love. go back to wherever you were when you first discovered the feeling that beautifully deep house music and unity creates.

i have a hunch it's going to be a very special evening for us all.
