I thought I'd just pass on some info I got from the KU Grandstand Kindergarten today. As of next week, this centre and Cammeray (Green Park) will be operating a new policy whereby you are only eligble if you are a resident of the immediate area, regardless of when you put your name on the list, AND regardless of age (i.e. they will NOT be offering all places automatically to 4 year olds). Also, they will most likely have a NO TRANSFER policy - up till now, you can transfer between KU kindergartens in different areas without losing your place.

So, if, like me, you have your child's name down at either of these 2 centres (and lucky me, these are the only 2 I have Sophie's name at, and did so a year ago!!), get on the phone THIS WEEK to get transferred out!
