I just watched a couple of UFO doccos back to back called "UFO The Unsolved Mystery" and "UFO Miracle Of The Unknown", and in one of them, they mentioned that no president since Truman (Or is it Eiswonhower? one of the two) has had a clearance level high enough to know of all alien related projects/knowledge.

Which is sort've a relief and at the same time makes me feel uneasy at the same time.

1- It means that the existing president doesn't have a hand in alien projects.
2- It also means that the existing president is not 100% in control of something he should be. (ie- being president of the USA should mean you know about, and have the final say on everything)

In TV series like Stargate, whenever something big goes down, general Hammond gets on the hotline to the president to "get the okay".

In other words, this means that whatever does transpire, the public won't know who's accountable. I guess we must trust in Majestic 12, of whatever group(s) is running the show now.
