Dan East hit a three in u12s last game on the buzzer to win. The game was against cairns, who Mulgrave beat on sat also by about 10, and with 5.6 secs to go dan dribbled up court and threw up a shot. I thought for sure the game was going into overtime. The crowd on both courts two and three went wild. Apparently mulgrave players on court three even stopped for a sec to see what happened. In the end boys finished two and two, and showed heaps of potential, and they actually looked like a team - trusting team mates, reminded me of what I saw in the 18 boys the previous weekend, and what every team esp 16boys should look up to.

u14 girls tried damn hard and from what I saw took it to the teams. In their first game they seemed to be a bit frightened but they never seemed out of the league, keep trying hard. By time classics come the girls will be a tough challange. Also their co-ordination of socks was very amazing. I wasn't aware you could get so many colours in a sock. Look out for it at mulgrave on 8/9th
