Dear God,

I pray that the almighty God and Creator will touch the hearts of the blessed and give them the wisdom to make a difference with there life. May leaders step up and not waste time on foolish trivial things that really do not matter. I pray that this letter will be printed in the editorial section of every newspaper in the world.
I pray that politicians and influential people will read it and realize with there position in life comes a responsibility to humanity.
God, I will not pray for people to give any more money to charity than they already give as history shows that strategy does not work. Rather, I pray that the political and economic structure be impemented in which every human being, in every country will have access to education, gainfull employment, food, housing with running water and medical treatment.
I pray that media, politicians and people from every walk of life from every corner of the globe become alarmed and shocked that in this day and age with all of the advances in Technology, science, medicine etc. that we have hundreds of millions of people living in barbaric conditions. I pray to understand why the case of four adopted children found starving in New Jersey found national front page media attention while right this minute around the world (including USA) :

A) eleven hundred million that is correct 1100 million people are starving and under nourished living in drastic, barbaric conditions. Approximately five hundred million 500 million of these are children.
B) Conservative estimates show more than one hundred million children live and work on the streets as beggers, thieves, prostitutes etc.
C) According to estimates each year six hundred thousand girls and young women are tricked into a life of forced prostitution. Many are from Eastern Europe and former Soviet Union countries that are very poor. Many of these beautiful girls are college educated and look like our wives, sisters and daughters. The economy is so bad in there country that they are easily tricked into taking jobs in western countries as teachers, nurses etc. paying good money. The problem is that they get to a middle country and have there passports, papers, identification taken and are sold into a brothel and forced to work as prostitutes. They are starved, beaten, tortured and forced to have unprotected sex with customers which will likely result in contracting AIDS and death. This all happened because they were from a poor country and looking for a good job abroad. Many times they were seeking employment to support children or aging parents that have no or little retirement in these countries.

Lord, touch and guide the heart and spirit of every person in a position to initiate change and impact the world positively. May these leaders find the persistence and courage to overcome the obstacles they will surely encounter fighting to end horrible attrocities. May lip service be unacceptable and urgent results oriented action initiated and completed.
Lord, I pray you give them strength and faith to "think outside the box". Perhaps someone will step up and institute a worldwide minimum wage and benefit package. Pay rate gaurantee by job title for every country in the world. Then if a company moves there operations to another country at least all the workers in that country will get the pay/ benefits. Perhaps companies wouldn't be in a hurry to move operations to Mexico if they couldn't pay labor rates of pennies on the dollar. Lord maybe someone will form a worldwide union to look out for masses.

Dear God, do not allow us to go through life with blinders on ignoring tragedy all around us. Never allow us to accept the international goal of reducing poverty from 1.1 billion people to 1 billion people by the year 2015. Lord, may we always remember but through your grace we could have been born at an orphanage in the soviet Union, Taiwan, Africa etc. or be one of the 100 million children living/working on the street today. Please allow this average man and average christans prayer to reach the right people in every language around the world. May god be with us all -Amen
