It is sometimes hard for us to tune into find loved ones in spirit, I see spirit every day but still find it hard to communicate with loved ones, but the best way of going about this is to meditate at a regulare time each day or week. All that pass on are welcomed into the spirit realms for your loved one will be on the next plane unless he/she is very spiritually evolved in which case they may be on a higher plane but they can come back to lower planes to visit and stay with us when we pass over. so yoiu dont have to worry about them or seeing them again and as time I am sure they come to visit you.
love & light Neil
