Driving faster in my car

Smokestacks dot across the highway
litter views around the world


I could take the days of promise
see the last thing in my mind
Images stripped of all reaction
to the sound I leave behind


This place gets closer
nights are colder
time to wallow in my pride

reality envied
to where it sends me
On this lonesome black roadway

Destination it's unknown
I have faltered
it has shown

Situations they excite
life is alterd
it ain't right


For all i have and all I've done
whispers to me through somone
the voices echo lines of pain
and I am through with stupid games


Radio playing
what your saying
I try to look the otherway

Days get shorter
It's almost over
always so much to decide
