I did not miss the point.
We see this kind of frenzied Rugby supporters in all the "Super 15" Club Rugby series throughout the year.
There are about 6 matches a weekend and the Super 15 series include teams from Australia, NZ & S. Africa.

It is also the "intellect's" rugby and you get to see hippies, anti-logging protestors, Doctors, Doctors wives, University professors and anarchists all thrown into the mix.
I guess the fans are more fanatical when it comes to representing a country - but hey.....the crowds have already had around 24 weeks of practice misbehaving.
You should see the bare breasted variety who pull up their blouses or jerseys when the TV cameras pan on them (as spectators). Everyone then forgets the score. hahaha!
