Wise move Doc. Don't go back to Yahoo or hotmail as both these internet/email hosts have been compromised very badly. If you think Wikileaks was bad - we won't wait for Docileaks.

Gmail as I mentioned was hit rather badly a few months ago, particulary with Singaporean email accounts. Happend exactly the same way as yours. Someone was highjacking personal accounts.
However, Gmail attacks were not widely spread as the Host (Gmail) stepped in and prevented further problems.

Sounds like the hacker is a sore loser after I called him an a_ se h_ _ e and told him to go wank himself, huh?
I also barred further emails from your old Yahoo account - therefore any sent to me via the hacker would simply have bounced back.

I trust that's the end of this episode
This has only reconfirmed my fears about one or more of us Apeks inadvertently letting in hackers into any 'shared' or 'pooled' intimate Facebook sites we may be thinking of creating.
Love the idea....but imagine when we start getting bogus messages on our Facebook accounts from "friends" who never actually wrote them? How do you tell?

It's already happening in Australia on Facebook with the same "I am in London, had an accident, wire me some money" story. Facebook still has not resolved this problem (hackers highjacking accounts) with their inadequate privacy & security settings currently available to users.
