Captain,
Many thanks for sharing. Always something to learn, even in our Golden Years. Most of us are past 65, in fact some in their late 60s, and soon we will be in our 70s. I hope all of us will get to "I am in my 90s" or "Tomorrow, we will be 100". In fact one our old friends is 101 coming to 102 -- a friend we made during our Chinese Heritage research. We still keep in touch -- which is one of the points made in that research you shared with us -- friendship which we value. Sitting down with friends or family, to have a cup of tea, to talk about everything, to have a laugh about life, about what is happening to things around us. Not necessary solutions, but offering our views. I guess that's life.
I encourage you get your books published. Publish the book yourself. We did. Interesting thing is, our books are now in various libraries, home, universities. It gives us a little smile, that our research is useful to others -- I guess that's another point --leaving somethin behind, useful to others.
One day we will meet again, and I hope one day we willmeet up with some of our childhood friends and classmates. Till then, good health.
Regards, LG
