SUNSET AT ULU WALU, BALI
(6.00 PM 5TH May, 2007)

Striped off my sarong on the turf;
And lay on top of the holy garb.
Peered at the heaven face to face;
Clouds drifted in chaotic and cranky warp.
The world, downside up, appeared a strange place.
Monkeys tried human tricks;
Humans pried monkey traffics.
The surf, below my bottom, pounded its raging surge.

The sun glowed liked a golden glimmering ball;
Losing its heat and gall.
It dives into the ocean unaware.
And, suddenly, it vanished into nowhere.

In my sunset years, with declining faith;
Would I suffer the same fate?
Would I rise again from the mountains?
Liked the lifting of the curtains?

And who would really care.
Voices from my pals blare:
Awakened me from my reverie,
I am again breathy.
To continue my campaign,
No vain and no gain �.
