Frankly, we would be happy if the Aussie could keep him as long as possible. However, he was punished for his crime according to the Law (fortunately, as you said Aussie Law). We could only pray that he was truly reformed by your country, otherwise more crime back here. In China, he would be shot or hanged, save tax payers' money, but then the white man talked about human rights. They didn't mentioned about the Innocents' Right. Of course, they never handled a population of 1.3 billion people. And, if they hanged every convict, they could be no white Australians! In this country, even if he was imprisoned and sentenced to death, he could still escape! The innocents have to live with that risks. Just to be controversial again, our lawyers will get him out. It's employment for them anyway.

What happended to the Indian (or Punjabi) boy's mysteriously death? The Indian government & Press will give you headache, if he is killed by an aussie, even a criminal!
