The rubbish is the responsibility of the local Council whilst the Klang River would be the State and to an extent the Federal Government as it runs through K.L.
Go attack your local Councillor for a lack of civic duty.

So you think that major projects like this will not get off the ground? I thought that the Malaysian Government was starting to get keen on 'green projects' and 'eco-infrastructure spending'?

After all, didn't your PM Najib go to Washington and meet up with President Obama and talked about "saving the world" from climate change, pollution, etc (nothing about corruption though)?
I understand PM Najib went home quite enthusiastic about his Washington sojourn and has turned into a tree hugger himself. Perhaps he may even invest in a length of chain to wrap himself around non-eco friendly tree removing machinery (hope politicians do not get confused with chains for enjoying macho-sadism or bondage).

Let's not be too cynical...yet!
Your Governments may surprise the citizens of Malaysia with genuine improvements. Hmmm......
