The blame game will eventually lay at the feet of the State & Federal Governments for bad conservation policies ......pandering to the latte drinking minority brigade of those tree hugging bohemians who think that staying "green" means allowing the population to burn.

Mark my words, the Victorian State Government will be sued in class actions for dereliction of their elected duties with one of them being keeping the forests and homes safe by adhering to the simple principle of "No fuel, No large bush fires". This simply means again - if there is a minimum of undergrowth and appropriate fire breaks (by back burning or clearance), bush fires will not burn out of control as happend a couple of weeks ago. Instead, the Greenie vote got the Labor politicians home - BUT at what cost to families and people?
