technically they'r big dogs, with a few modifications.. for one thing their backs are developed so that with the right training they can be ridden like horses.. they also make very good home gaurds because not many people want to tackle a gaurd dog the size of a horse with extended claws and potentially venemous fangs..(though most people have their venom glands disabled). of course we also have the dwarf variety which are the size of regular dogs as well if your interested in those..
